Goodwill LEADS, Inc. hosted a dedication ceremony for the new Excel Center in Hammond, a free, public high school serving students 18 and older with year-round accelerated classes. Graduating students receive an Indiana Core 40 Diploma and college credits or industry certification.

The Excel Center offers each student an opportunity for greater success as well as workforce development for surrounding communities. Graduates are better prepared to be productive employees and enhance the companies that hire them.

Enrollment for next semester’s classes is currently underway. Those interested in attending are encouraged to visit during the Dedication or any time The Excel Center is open. Free childcare is provided on-site while students are in class and a life coach is provided to guide them toward success. Find out more about The Excel Center by calling: (219) 844-1911 or visiting www.ExcelCenterHS.org.
