Pepper Construction Announces Promotions

Pepper Construction Company of Indiana has promoted key personnel within its organization. Steve Allemeier advanced to Chief Operating Officer, while Mitch Denton has advanced to the role of Vice President.

These gentlemen each exhibit an outstanding level of leadership and a depth of client relationships that they’ll continue to foster in their new roles.”

 Steve Allemeier, Chief Operating Officer

Steve previously served as Senior Vice President of Pepper Indiana. As chief operating officer, Steve will lead Pepper Indiana’s operations, including staffing, pricing strategies and field strategies. Steve has provided oversight to some of Pepper Indiana’s largest and most complex healthcare projects and will continue to serve in a leadership capacity as needed on projects.

Steve has 32 years of industry experience and joined Pepper in 1999. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering and Management from Purdue University, and is OSHA 30- and 10-Hour certified. Steve currently serves on the Coalition for Construction Safety Board of Directors and the Board of Directors for Rein of Grace Therapeutic Riding Center. He is also a member of the AGC of Indiana, Indiana Subcontractors Association, Indiana Society of Healthcare Engineers and the American Society for Healthcare Engineering.

Mitch Denton, Vice President

Mitch was previously Director of Business Development within Pepper Indiana, and also served as Group Leader of commercial markets. Mitch has been integral in growing Pepper’s commercial interiors operation into a primary market for the company, and is well respected in the construction industry. He will continue serving clients in his new role as Vice President and leading Pepper’s business development efforts. He will continue to be a resource to owners, designers and trade partners, offering construction expertise and an objective perspective.

Mitch earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering and Management from Purdue University, and is LEED AP certified. He has 21 years of experience in the construction industry, and has been with Pepper for 13 years.
