Salesforce Adds President and Chief People Officer

Brent Hyder has joined Salesforce as the company’s new Chief People Officer.

As President and Chief People Officer, Hyder will be responsible for overseeing Salesforce’s Employee Success organization, which is dedicated to hiring and engaging a team of more than 45,000 employees and growing.

Hyder joins Salesforce from Gap Inc., where he has spent the last 15 years, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer. In this position, Hyder oversaw all aspects of human resources, including the company’s equal pay, diversity and inclusion, succession planning, innovative talent management and hiring initiatives. While at Gap Inc., Hyder also led communications, global sustainability and Gap Foundation. In addition to his more than 20 years of HR experience, Hyder has served as the Chief Operating Officer of Gap Brand and as the Vice President, General Manager and Representative Director of Gap Japan KK.
