Seven Organizations Partner for Life Science News

Seven Indiana life sciences organizations launched INscience, a one-stop shop for the sector’s news, events, jobs, and other information via a progressive web app on a mobile device. BioCrossroads, Cook Regentec, Corteva Agriscience, Eli Lilly and Company, Indiana Biosciences Research Institute, Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute and Roche Diagnostics worked together on INscience to encourage local engagement and knowledge about Indiana’s $78 billion life sciences economy. This free app will deliver breaking news, details about career opportunities, videos, and community engagement events.

The Indiana life sciences community has more than 57,000 people and 1,700 companies as well as three leading research universities. The INscience app will promote engagement across the sector and increase awareness and knowledge about Indiana’s life sciences industry, and specifically with information from the seven founding partners.

When users subscribe (at comms.myinscience.com), they can identify what types of information they receive as well as which organizations they receive it from.

“The INscience platform is a great way to connect and create new conversations at the organizational and individual levels, enhance the diversity of community engagement, and learn about networking opportunities,” said Vanessa Barth, chief scientific officer, BioCrossroads. “With such a dynamic and evolving industry, we’re really excited to use this innovation to bring the community together and spread the word about our impressive sector.”

Carmel, Ind.-based Lumavate, the leading platform for creating progressive web applications, developed the platform for INscience.
