1st Source Bank announced that Daniel Conroy has been promoted to Group Head of Personal Banking. Holding various roles in his 19 years at the bank, Conroy has gained experience and knowledge that has prepared him well for this new position.
He joined 1st Source as a corporate trainee, progressing quickly through banking center manager and regional sales manager roles. In 2012, he was promoted to Continuous Improvement Leader and in 2019 to Consumer and Mortgage Lending Manager. During his time at the Bank, he has managed nine banking centers across four counties and led mortgage and consumer lending sales teams. He also implemented strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth, optimize client experience, and mitigate risk, as well as designed and implemented the Bank’s Lean Daily Management training.
Conroy holds a B.S. in Business from Indiana University and is currently enrolled in the Executive MBA program at University of Notre Dame. Additionally, he has earned a Lean Certification, received St. Joseph County’s 40 under 40 award in 2014 and graduated from Leadership South Bend/Mishawaka in 2011. In the community, he serves on the boards of the Community Homebuyer Corporation and Christ the King School Athletic Committee and coaches softball and little league teams.
“Danny’s background here at 1st Source positions him well to lead the strategy, products, goals, and service execution of Personal Banking,” said Kevin Murphy. “He is a perfect fit for the Group Head of Personal Banking role and is well liked and highly respected among his colleagues at the Bank.”
