Adrienne Williams LaBorwit has assumed her role as Chief Executive Officer of True Rx Health Strategists, the Indiana-based pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) privately owned by a family of pharmacists. As CEO, LaBorwit leads True Rx’s vision to change the world of health care.
LaBorwit succeeds Mark Williams, RPh, her father who led the company since 2007., LaBorwit is the fifth generation to lead the family business, building on a pharmacist-founded legacy of patient-centered care and a commitment to doing what’s right for patients and employers.
Since joining True Rx in 2018, LaBorwit has held several leadership roles, including Director of Business Development, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, and Chief Strategy Officer. She brings more than 20 years of experience in health care leadership, patient experience, and client relationship management, business development, and marketing.
Under her leadership, True Rx has been named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America, while delivering measurable improvements in patient care, health outcomes and costs savings for clients. LaBorwit has scaled True Rx's Health Strategist model to a national level, bringing pharmacist-led solutions that combine transparent pricing with clinical expertise and proactive support to serve patients and clients across the country.
She also established the True Experience, applying the philosophy of top-tier hospitality to health care so people feel seen and heard.
LaBorwit holds a Master of Arts in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Business from Indiana University. Her academic background, paired with a clear focus on improving patient and client experience, continues to guide her leadership and innovation in the health care industry.
