CLH Promotes Four Team Members to Senior Accountant Positions

Posted

CLH, CPAs & Consultants is pleased to announce the promotions of Adam Lange, Ryin Ott, Jordan Sheets and Kayla Kranc to senior accountant, a recognition of their professional growth and commitment to serving both clients and colleagues.

In their new roles, each will take on greater responsibilities in reviewing work, training new staff and higher-level duties in the accounting process.

Adam Lange joined CLH in 2022 after working in transportation, sales, logistics and recruiting.

“This promotion reaffirms that joining CLH was the right decision at the right time and has been an important step in my professional growth,” he said. “I look forward to the opportunities and new responsibilities this role is going to bring about.”

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Trinity International University and his master’s degree from Southern New Hampshire University. Currently, he is a member of the Indiana CPA Society (INCPAS), American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.

Ryin Ott began gaining accounting experience while still in high school, splitting her time between school and work, where she developed her knowledge in auditing and property tax work. She continued building on that work experience in college while earning her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Purdue University Fort Wayne. During those years, she worked part-time as a financial data clerk for several county offices. She joined CLH as a staff accountant in 2024 before her promotion to the senior level this year. She is also a member of INCPAS.

“One of the things I am most excited for is being involved in new hire training. I have always liked helping people,” she said. “We were all once in their position, so we know what it’s like.”

Jordan Sheets first joined CLH as a college intern in 2022 while attending Valparaiso University. After earning her bachelor’s degree in business administration, she joined the firm as a full-time staff accountant and was promoted to senior accountant this year. She is also a member of INCPAS.

Through her years with CLH, Sheets has also developed a strong interest in helping clients protect their businesses through fraud prevention and detection.

“We all have our own niche. Mine is helping clients on the front end, setting up software procedures and protecting them internally,” she said. “I found joy in working with the clients directly and helping them through that process.”

Kayla Kranc brought her experience in public accounting and strong knowledge of the federal Research and Development Tax Credit to CLH in 2024, when she joined the firm as a staff accountant. Known for her strong abilities in industry analysis and attention to detail, Kranc is recognized by leadership as a team member who excels in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

She earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in accounting from Purdue University Northwest and is also a member of INCPAS.

“Adam, Ryin, Jordan, and Kayla each bring a unique combination of experience, perspective and expertise to our team, and these promotions are a reflection of the value they provide to our clients and to one another,” said Gretchen Kalk-Castro, CPA, and Partner at CLH. “We’re proud to recognize their growth and the initiative they have demonstrated throughout their time so far with the firm.”
