The Home Builders Association of Northwest Indiana (HBANWI) announced the appointment of two new leaders to its Board of Directors: Mike Hendren, Owner and President of Hendren Custom Homes, serving as a Builder Director, and Greg Hulbert, Account Manager at Trim-A-Door Corporation, serving as an Associate Director.
The HBANWI Board of Directors is comprised of 18 builder and associate professionals representing the residential construction, remodeling, supplier, and housing industries throughout Northwest Indiana. The Board provides strategic leadership and guidance for the Association’s mission of advocacy, workforce development, education, and industry collaboration.
Mike Hendren, Owner and President of Hendren Custom Homes in Valparaiso, Indiana, brings years of experience in custom residential construction and renovation. Known for exceptional craftsmanship, quality construction, and a client-focused approach, Hendren has established a strong reputation for creating homes designed to serve families for generations.
Greg Hulbert joins the Board representing Trim-A-Door Corporation, where he serves as an Account Manager supporting builders, contractors, and industry professionals throughout the region. Trim-A-Door Corporation is a leading Midwest supplier of doors, millwork, stairs, cabinetry, and building products serving the residential construction industry. Hulbert’s industry expertise and strong relationships within the building supply sector provide valuable insight and support for the Association and its members.

HBANWI currently represents more than 160 members and continues to grow as a mid-sized Home Builders Association serving the needs of Lake and Porter Counties, as well as Northwest Indiana as a whole. Members include builders, remodelers, suppliers, subcontractors, developers, designers, financial institutions, and other industry professionals dedicated to advancing quality housing and economic development across the region.
