The Indianapolis-based team from Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) won Transaction of the Year during the 17th Annual NAIOP Real Estate Awards. The event recognizes outstanding development projects and brokerage professionals for industrial, office, multifamily and mixed-use properties in Indiana completed in 2024.
The Indianapolis JLL team received the award for their complex deal with Kats, Sapper & Miller (KSM) to move to a new, 81-thousand square foot space within the newly rebranded office park, Carmel Gateway.
The JLL team included Traci Kapsalis, Executive Vice President; Meghan James, Senior Vice President, Workplace Strategy; Matt Waggoner, Senior Managing Director; Mike Gresham, Senior Project Manager; John Robinson, Managing Director; Graham Summers, Managing Director; Alicia Kurtz, Client Experiences; and Mike Gresham, Senior Project Manager.
The movement of KSM to the new space within Carmel Gateway demonstrates Carmel Gateway’s commitment to an unmatched tenant experience. The announcement comes on the heels of the office park undergoing over $40 million worth of capital improvements by owner Rubenstein Partners LP in recent years to benefit the tenant and employee work experience with upgrades such as a new amenity building, state-of-the-art gym, lavishly renovated designer lobbies, indoor and outdoor green spaces, gated pickleball courts, on-site cafe with expansive menu options, and outdoor meeting areas.
This month, Carmel Gateway will break ground on the new, exclusive Carmel Gateway East Lawn, which will offer even more open green spaces for tenants.
