The Northwest Indiana Forum in partnership with Northern Indiana Public Service Company LLC (“NIPSCO”) hosted a Familiarization (Fam) Tour, welcoming a select group of seven site selectors from across the country to experience firsthand the unique advantages and opportunities that Northwest Indiana has to offer.
The Fam Tour highlighted key assets of the area, including development sites, workforce strengths, and quality-of-life amenities. Attendees received guided tours of strategic business locations, participated in discussions with local leaders, and enjoyed curated experiences that showcased the region’s unique resources.
“This tour is an important part of our ongoing efforts to attract investment and raise awareness of the incredible potential here. One of our critical success factors is promoting Northwest Indiana as the place to do business. This Familiarization Tour plays a pivotal role in advancing that mission,” said Heather Ennis, President and CEO of the Northwest Indiana Forum. “We were excited to share our story and connect with professionals who are working with companies worldwide to shape future development.”
