Notre Dame Federal Credit Union announced a strategic ownership investment in CU WealthNext, via the credit union’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Mission Financial Network, LLC. The investment reflects a shared commitment to expanding credit union ownership and influence across the emerging wealth technology ecosystem.
“This investment reinforces the belief that credit unions should not simply consume financial technology, but help shape and own it,” said Joshua Herman, President/CEO of CU WealthNext. “Notre Dame FCU understands that long-term alignment comes from shared ownership, governance, and purpose. We’re proud to welcome them as partners.”
Tom Gryp, President/CEO of Notre Dame FCU, added, “CU WealthNext represents a thoughtful approach to emerging technological innovation in the credit union space. Their focus on ownership, alignment, and member impact closely mirrors our own philosophy. This investment allows us to participate directly in building infrastructure that serves credit unions and their members both today and into the future.”
Gryp concluded, “Through this investment, we are supporting the continued growth of CU WealthNext and strengthening our shared approach to delivering modern wealth-building solutions for credit union members through a cooperative ownership model.”
