An exciting fundraising event set for March 4 will combine fashion with philanthropy as ticket holders compete for a chance to win name-brand purses and designer sunglasses while supporting the advancement of women in the region.
The Northwest Indiana Influential Women Association’s (NWIIWA) Designer Purse & Sunglass Bingo returns to Merrillville this year to support the organization’s new Mentorship Program. The program, launched last year, brings together seasoned women leaders as mentors and pairs them with rising stars, who will receive guidance, perspective and encouragement to move their careers forward with purpose.
The Designer Purse & Sunglass Bingo will be held 5-8 p.m. March 4, at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church & Pavilion in Merrillville. Tickets are available for purchase on NWIIWA’s website. In addition to games, the bingo event will feature a light dinner, cash bar, opportunities to network and plenty of fun. Guests are welcome to arrive early to network and check out this year’s prizes.
A raffle will also be featured this year as an online fundraiser to coincide with the bingo event. Each $20 ticket is a chance to win all five prizes, featuring handbags and sunglasses from Coach, Kate Spade, Michael Kors and more. Those with raffle tickets need not be present to win, and winners will be announced during the bingo event. Raffle tickets are sold separately from the Designer Purse & Sunglass Bingo event tickets.
