Ice Miller, a leading national law firm first founded in Indianapolis, will relocate its flagship presence to the Bottleworks District as part of Phase III of the development. Located in a state-of-the-art, 85,000-square-foot, build-to-suit office building, Ice Miller will occupy the entire building, solidifying Bottleworks District as a hub for business and community engagement.
“For more than a century, Ice Miller has enjoyed the good fortune to not only grow in tandem with the great city of Indianapolis, but to have a hand in our community’s growth,” said Ice Miller Chief Managing Partner Michael Millikan. “The time is right for the next step in our firm’s evolution, and I can’t imagine a better landing spot for our new home than the lively and forward-leaning Bottleworks District, a true jewel in the city’s crown.”
Scheduled for completion in 2028, the new building will replace the "Bottleworks Lot 2 Parking" at the northeast corner of the district at 10th and Bellefontaine Street. The 11-story building will feature six floors of public/private parking (335 stalls), with at least 100 spaces reserved for public use, ensuring no displacement of existing parking. The remaining five floors will be dedicated entirely to office space for Ice Miller, providing a modern, innovative workspace in the heart of the district.
As one of the most dynamic mixed-use developments in the region, Bottleworks District is proud to offer a space where businesses thrive alongside world-class dining, retail, and cultural experiences.
“We are excited to welcome Ice Miller to Bottleworks District,” said Rob Gerbitz, President & CEO of Hendricks Commercial Properties. “Their commitment to excellence and their deep roots in the Indiana community make them a perfect fit for this vibrant destination.”
Rich Forslund and Matt Langfeldt of Colliers represented Hendricks Commercial Properties in the lease at Bottleworks District, while Matt Waggoner and Graham Summers of JLL represented the tenant, Ice Miller.
